This course was all about designing for a 'wicked problem', I based my project on sustainability and how reusing, repairing and repurposing old items can greatly reduce the impact different materials have on our planet

Case Study

We started off with a case study and I did mine on Object Therapy, an exhibition by the Australian Design Centre. The basis of this exhibition was accepting 29 broken objects from the public and handing them to a team of repair researchers so these objects could receive ‘Therapy’. The researchers included noted Australian and international designers including Trent Janson, Liam Mugavin, Henry Wilson, Alison Jackson and many more.

Project

For my project I made a street library made from recycled and repurposed wood, as well as an accompanying how to guide so other people can replicate and adapt my design for themselves
